And We're Back!

It's finally that time of the year again! The leaves are beginning to change colors, the temperature is finally simmering down, Purdue's campus is once again bustling with students young and old, and (best of all) Heart and Soul is back!

We are excited to introduce our FABULOUS new director, Rhonda Blacklock! Rhonda has been directing the Purdue Bell Choir since 2013, and she pretty much rocks at it. She is doing a terrific job as new director of Heart and Soul, and we can't wait to see how the group evolves with her leadership!
  
FUN FACTS ABOUT RHONDA:

1. Rhonda likes MANY different types of music, including (but not limited to): AC/DC, Indianapolis Symphony, Bees Gees, and even Lady Gaga! 

2. She has been a church organist since she was 12 years old! 

3. Her favorite foods are diet coke, fritos, snickers, and Mexican food.

4. Rhonda has two adult children, Nick and Kaitlin. Nick is a Biomedical Engineer, and Kaitlin is a musical therapist. I guess musical talent runs in the family! 

Rhonda says, "I love directing Heart & Soul...love the variety of music we're doing and how open you all are to me and my craziness.  I know transition is hard!"

We are also thrilled to welcome our new members to the group! They show so much potential, and are already stepping up as leaders!
